Lifestyle Homes & Cabins Modular homes, cabins and granny flats are not built on your site. They are constructed to Australian Standards under controlled conditions in our specialist factory.

2. What is the difference between a Cabin and a Granny Flat?
A cabin is a small dwelling with limited amenities predominately found in tourist parks and the like (most with bathroom/toilet and/or ensuite facilities and generally no laundry). Granny Flats have all the amenities of a smaller home.

3. Does Lifestyle Homes & Cabins
include the kitchen and built-ins as well?
YES! Find a picture in your favourite magazine
or design your own and we will have it built for you with your own personal touches.

4. I live in a windy and fire prone Area - Can you build to suit these conditions?
YES! Lifestyle Homes & Cabins build to various wind ratings and should you live in a designated fire prone area Lifestyle Homes & Cabins can build to the necessary category ratings.

5. Strong and Transportable?
YES! Apart from quality design and workmanship, our
Modular homes, granny flats and cabins are truly transportable. The entire operation of creating a
Modular home, granny flat or cabin is done by Lifestyle Homes & Cabins from design, through construction, to delivery and
siting. Each structure is built in one or more modules so that it will fit easily onto transport. Our homes, granny flats and cabins are built on a strong galvanized steel chassis, which has been designed by engineers to withstand the move on a truck(s) and lifted onsite.

6. Can I customise my new residence?
YES! There is almost no limit to the variety of designs and styles of Lifestyle Homes & Cabins. Choose a traditional or contemporary style, a single or double storey, a bullnose or skillion roofed wrap around verandah, a carport and so much more. Then tailor the interior layout to suit your specific needs. The shape and size of rooms can be changed to provide more (or less) living area. Custom made kitchens can be big or small and the number of bedrooms is entirely up to you. (see Luxury Personal Appointments on the features & options page)
Most importantly, your new home or cabin is designed to require the bare minimum of
maintenance, leaving you free to enjoy your chosen lifestyle.

7. What is my guarantee?
As your absolute guarantee of quality, all Lifestyle Homes & Cabins
homes come with a 6 year structural guarantee. Our enthusiastic trades people are fully qualified so you can expect only the finest quality workmanship. Lifestyle homes & Cabins
is a member of the Housing Industry Association for additional peace of mind. All cabins conform to the Local Government Act 1995 and are supplied with a compliance plate and those built on your block conform to the Building Code of Australia. State variations as they may apply are accommodated.

8. Are there any hidden costs?
NO! Before signing any contracts, Lifestyle Homes & Cabins gathers all the relevant information needed to fine tune the price and we make sure you know every cost you are likely to expect. Lifestyle Homes & Cabins can obtain the necessary building permit needed by council if required (at a small additional charge).

9. Does the price include connections to services?
NO! The plumbing and electrical connections are internally done and brought out under each point, but you need to get them connected once they are in place. Both plumbing & electrical services are tested prior to leaving manufacturing which makes your trades job quick and easy. Of course should your plumber or electrician wish to speak to our trades people they are most welcome.

10. Can you provide facilities for the disabled?
YES! We can make simple modifications through to complete access and mobility changes. There are different 'strengths' of the standard, just let us know how far you want to go.

11. Are these Homes, Granny Flats and Cabins council approved on our own block?
YES! Our buildings are built in accordance with the Building Code of Australia, using the best of building practices. There is no problem with council approval for the buildings as long as they comply with the local authorities regulations.
Each council has its own requirements as far as the Town plan is concerned so contact your authorities and see what they require.

12. How do I get a pricelist?
Simply fill out the online form (Here) and send it. Call us on (02) 4455 3339, outline what your requirement is and we'll send you a brochure. A pricelist will only tell you the price of one unit compared to another - it will not include prices for delivery or set-up or variations you may choose later. We need all of your information to give you an idea of what your delivered costs will be.

13. Can you build on a site with limited access?
YES! - we can - extra costs may apply.

14. Is the timber used in your Homes, Granny Flats & Cabins treated in any way?
YES! it is in accordance with the Building Code of Australia.

15. Can we have an all timber exterior Home, Granny Flat or Cabin?
YES! in either Cedar or Radiator Pine.

16. Can your Homes, Granny Flats & Cabins be double glazed for extra insulation and sound proofing?
YES! this can be done for cold climates and noisy areas.

17. What does it cost to transport my home and is it included in the price?
Transportation costs vary depending on the size of the home, RTA requirements, police requirements, escort vehicle requirements etc. These are taken care of by Lifestyle Homes &
Cabins and are included in your quote.

18. Do you transport pre-loved properties around Australia?
